Here are some previously asked questions that may help you with your enquiry.

 

How much notice do you need?

We have a large team that meet every week to train and rehearse, this allows us to take bespoke bookings well in advance and work on producing their exact requirements over time to really create individual concepts just for you. However because we are a team and not an agency this also allows us to take very last minute bookings as we have a large catalogue of ready to go entertainment. As for lessons, promo and party hosts all of our team are ready and raring to go so just ask!

 

How much do you charge?

We pride ourselves on being top of our game when it comes to entertainment and teaching yet our prices are very competative. We believe that quality and professionalism should not come at a preimium. It is our promise to supply the best for the best price. That is why we work closely with each individual budget to make sure we produce soemthing amazing that fits. Prices can start at as little as £50 so don't be afraid to enquire as we would love to work with you and any budget large or small.

 

How far do you travel?

The team are all based along the South Coast with our main office being in Southsea, Portsmouth. We travel across the UK and beyond with bookings outside of Hampshire and the surrounding areas incurring a small travel cost or accomodation. The team all have performance credits across the globe so nationwide and worldwide enquiries are very exciting for us!

 

Are you insured?

Yes we are fully insured to both teach and entertain, including our speciality skills. We are happy to send you a copy and complete a risk assesment if you require. Our teachers also all hold current DBS checks and dance qualifications.

 

We would love to feature aerial is this possible?

Aerial acrobatics would be wonderful at your event and if your venue will allow it we would love to add it for you. Our professional and qualified rigger will need to ask you a few questions to make sure it is viable and if it is then he will rig everything safely for you on the day and supply you with a detailed risk assesment. This is very possible in most instances so please send us a request so that we can hopefully help.

 

What themes do you have?

Everything and anything.... and if we don't have it already we will get it for you! We love creating new ideas and will be happy to make suggestions or work with yours to make each and every theme a showstopping success. Let your imagination run wild, we certainly will!

 

Are costumes included?

Every booking comes complete with costumes of your choice and we will work closely with you to recreate your ideas, colours and themes included in the fee. We have a very large wardrobe full of everything from showgirls to clowns, pirates to cheerleaders, flapper girls to bollywood.

 

Am I able to make suggestions and requests?

Of course! This is your event / party so we appreciate you will have ideas and suggestions. Our job is to turn them into performance pieces and visual acts that will wow you and your guests. We will work closely with you to make sure evertyhing from music to costumes and even choreography is exactly what you had in mind. Or just leave it with us, this is what we do every day so you can rest assured we will get it right!

 

Do you require a deposit?

All bookings require a 50% non refundable deposit to secure it into our busy diary. This means we can set to work on producing your entertainment and booking your performers or teachers as soon as it has been recieved along with a completed booking form. The balance is then due on completion of our work for you.

 

Who is our point of contact before, during or after?

One thing we know our clients appreciate is the continuity of correspondence from our head office. You will only ever speak with 1 of 3 people and they will also be there on the day if your event requires an on hands memeber of our production team to over see music, staging or technical elements. Nicole, Matt or Emma are always happy to help.

 

How do your promotional team work?

They work for you by adding the confidence and energy your promotion requires to be a success. Our team will work hard to capture data, interact with the public or offer samples to passers by. Whatever you need help with they will be on hand and we are sure you like many others will keep rebooking them for your promotions due to the success they achive.

 

How many children are included for a party?

When you book a dance party with us we will always send you two party hosts. This allows you to sit back and relax as they do all the work. We reccomend no more than 30-35 children for the very best experience but please do let us know if you were thinking of a few more as we can add another host to your booking for a small fee.

 

How long is a childs dance party?

Our standared dance parties are 2 hours long and incorporate party games, dance fun, catwalk, a break for part food (provided by you) and showtime 15 minutes from the end for family and friends to watch. We have been running our parties this way for many years and feel the fun fast paced approuch is best.

 

What schools do you teach at?

For the past 10 years Manic Stage Productions has been a recognised name in many schools across the South Coast. Our dedicated team are loved by the children and we our lessons and clubs are featured into the schools timetable year in and year out. 

 

Which Key Stage do you work with?

We have worked and continue to work with a variety of ages and abilities. We cater the classes we teach to suit your chosen level, key stage and ability. We have even worked with a number of special needs children who reponded very well to the sessions. Children and adults will gain confidence, coordination and much more through dance and the performing arts so we recommend it for all school years.

 

Do my fiance and I need dance experience for our wedding dance lesson?

Absolutly not! We are confident that we can help anyone and everyone learn to dance ready for their wedding day. Your 1st dance is such a special moment in time and we will work at a level that suits you both to make sure you step onto the dance floor feeling confident in your new found dance ability.
